Austrumu un rietumu mīti Salmana Rušdi romānā "Florences burve"

Austrumu un rietumu mītiem daudzu gadsimtu garumā bijusi būtiska loma dažādos literārajos darbos. Šī pētnieciskā darba mērķis ir pierādīt, ka austrumu un rietumu mītiem ir nozīmīga loma Salmana Rušdi romānā „Florences burve”. Mērķa sasniegšanai tika studēti dažādi austrumu un rietumu mīti, ieskaitot mītus no Tuvo Austrumu folkloras stāstu krājuma „Tūkstoš un vienas nakts pasakas”, mītu par Pigmalionu un Galateju, renesanses laika dzejoļus „Orlando innamorato” un „Orlando furioso”. Rezultāti pierāda, ka austrumu un rietumu mīti Rušdi romānā ir komplicēti un pārklāj cits citu, tie skar politiskas un sociālas problēmas. The last two decades have witnessed an intensified academic interest in a potential rapprochement between Postcolonial Studies and Postcommunist Studies, the former a firmly established discipline in global academia, while the existence of the latter as a discipline in its own right is still debatable. Dreams and Themes in the texts of the “Reaalifantasia” group : Unnatural Minds in Anne Leinonen’s Viivamaalari and J. Pekka Mäkelä’s Muurahaispuu

This article deals with the unnaturally functioning and frame-breaking dreams and the unnatural minds they are connected to in the novels Viivamaalari (2013) by Anne Leinonen and Muurahaispuu (2012) by J. Pekka Mäkelä. The dreams in the novels are discussed as examples of the poetics and thematics of Reaalifantasia, a young Finnish group of authors who in their writings combine fantasy elements with features of other genres. These minds and dreams as well as the ideologically charged themes they foreground are analyzed using the concepts and viewpoints of unnatural narratology. peerReviewed
